Knights Soccer Program

Players from Kinder-5th grade will have a try-out in order to be placed in the Recreational or Competitive league.

There will be schedule conflicts during games days if you have siblings in a different grade group! 

 We cannot accommodate schedules as is a sports league.

 

 PK3/PK4  Pee-wee Kickers: (Boys & Girls)

This is an introductory skills development program for players ages three and four. Players will learn running, kicking a ball, and special awareness of their surroundings. This will be a follow up skills class for students who have participated in the PK3 training as well. Learning the sport through training techniques to develop coordination and balancing. The emphasis and philosophy is just to have FUN! If a player exceeds his or her potential athletic abilities, this player will be moved up to the Kinder division.

Students in this grade level will practice once a week on Fridays for forty five minutes and will have a thirty minute game on Saturday mornings. We will use the 3 v 3, 4 v 4, or 5 v 5 formats. Games will consist of thirty minutes. 


PK3 Games will be Saturday mornings at Coral Reef Park / Miami Dade College-Kendall  @ 8:30am

PK4 Games will be Saturday mornings at Coral Reef Park  / Miami Dade College-Kendall @ 9:00am

Kinder-5  Recreational League: (Boys / Girls)

Boys & Girls will be separated in the Developmental program for players’ ages five to eleven years old. It is designed for those players who do not have either the skills or the interest in playing soccer at a highly competitive level. Is for “Everyone” who wishes to play the sport, learn the rules, exercise, and experience an enjoyable atmosphere. Players will learn the basic manipulative skills like kicking, passing, heading, defending, shooting, throwing, and the awareness of team sportsmanship. Every player is guaranteed playing time during practices and games. To bring the community together, learn some soccer skills, have fun, train and play regularly in a team/league format. The emphasis and philosophy is just to have FUN! 

If a player exceeds his or her potential athletic abilities, this player will be moved to the Competitive League.

Students in this grade level will practice twice a week for an hour and will have a game on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings. We will use the 4 v 4 or 5 v 5 formats with no goalkeeper. Goalkeepers will be used in the 2nd  – 5th grade divisions. Games will consist of thirty minutes. 


Games will be Fridays at Coral Reef Park /Miami Dade College @ 5:00pm /5:30pm /6:00pm


Games will be Saturdays at Coral Reef Park /Miami Dade College @ 9:00am/ 10:00am /11:00am /12:00pm

Kinder-5  Competitive League: (Boys / Girls) 

Boys or Girls will be selected from the Developmental League by the coaches’ recommendation throughout the season in order to continue growing as a Club.

Is for those players who want to play at a higher level. Players in this level will master loco motor and manipulative skills through re-enforcement small sided games. Physical condition and health education will enhance the player’s ability for strenuous workouts. Players/teams will have the opportunity to compete representing Palmetto Bay Knights in leagues and tournaments in Dade County.

To play competitively against other soccer academies, school teams, select teams and tournaments in Dade County.

Is to LEARN the vital skills needed to play at a higher level. Training sessions are vital for the progression and the development of the player. Training sessions will be fun but challenging. Small sided games encourage higher level of play and competition. The Junior Advanced Academy League is designed to supplement the recreational soccer experience, not replace it.


Academy teams will compete in the Private school League & Club tournaments.


Games will be Saturday mornings or afternoons @ Miami Dade College 11011 SW 104 Street or Miami Dade Communities.

Middle School 5 v 5 In-House League (6th - 7th) Boys & Girls or away League

It is designed for those players who would like to continue and do not have either the skills or the interest in playing soccer at a highly competitive level. Every player is guaranteed playing time during practices and games. To bring the community together, learn some soccer skills, have fun, train and play regularly in a team/league format.

Students in this grade level will practice twice a week for an hour and will have games on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings. We will use the 5 v 5 formats including the goalkeeper. Games will be between In- House club players. Games will consist of thirty minutes.


If we cannot make our own league, we will play in another league.


Games will be scheduled with other academy or club teams and will need to have away games.
